Este ano a ONU Mulheres anuncia o tema do Dia Internacional da Mulher, 8 de março de 2021 (IWD 2021) como “Mulheres na liderança: Alcançando um futuro igual em um mundo de COVID-19″. O tema celebra os enormes esforços de mulheres e meninas em todo o mundo na construção de um futuro mais igualitário e na recuperação da pandemia de COVID-19.

Este ano, para assinalar o Dia Internacional da Mulher, o Parlamento Europeu realça o papel fundamental das mulheres durante a crise da COVID-19.

This year UN Women announced the theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March 2021 (IWD 2021) as  “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.” The theme celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

To mark this year’s International Women’s Day on 8 March, the European Parliament is underlining the crucial role of women during the Covid crisis.
