Clube Europeu AEG vai à Assembleia Municipal | Europe Club at the Municipal Council meeting

O Clube Europeu AEG cumpre o seu plano anual de atividades para o corrente ano letivo com uma última atividade, levando os seus membros a assistir a uma reunião ordinária da Assembleia Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão na noite de 28 de junho. 

Esta iniciativa pretendeu proporcionar aos jovens envolvidos um contacto direto e tomada de consciência das competências, funcionamento e composição deste orgão do poder democrático local.
Hoje foram observadores curiosos dos seus trabalhos, amanhã serão os seus eleitores e, quem sabe, um dos seus membros.

The Europe Club concluded its annual activity plan with a last meeting and trip by taking its members to an ordinary meeting of the municipal council of Vila Nova de Famalicão on 28th June.

By attending a municipal council meeting, students learned about the functions, roles and members of this institution of local democratic government. 
Let's not forget that these teenagers, who are curious about and somewhat intrigued by such speeches and procedures today, will soon be voters and, who knows, one of its councillors.

Exposição "Europa, casa da Democracia" | Exhibition "Europe, home of Democracy"

Quase a findar as atividades planeadas pertinentes à temática "Europa, casa da Democracia", o Clube Europeu AEG apresenta uma exposição homónima que pretende relembrar de forma breve a história e o legado dos princípios e práticas democráticas, sobretudo na Europa.

Nearly finishing the activities planned for the topic "Europe, home of Democracy", the Europe Club presents an homonymous exhibition which aims at briefly reminding the history and legacy of democratic principles and practices, mainly in Europe.
